Created in the 1970's, this Monoi uses the Jasmine flower as its fragrance. A small ivory petaled round flower, the Jasmine has a powerful fragrance and is the strongest of the Monoi fragrances. Known as Pikake in Hawaii, Pitate is the "Flower of Romance".

Monoi Tiare Tahiti makes delightfully scented oils for deep tanning, massage, dry skin, moisturizing baths, hair and scalp conditioning, just a dab for an alluring fragrance. In the native Tahitian language, Monoi (pronounced Mon-oy) translates to "scented oil." It is a completely natural product which has long been revered by Polynesians for its skin moisturizing virtues. Monoi is specific to French Polynesia and is traditionally made from "tiare" (pronounced Tea-a-ray) flowers (Gardenia tahitensis) soaked in the highest grade coconut oil.

Use as dark tanning oil, skin moisturizer, before & after shampoo to add sheen and prevent dry hair, as a bath oil, and as subtle perfume. Hardens when cool-Place in sun or warm water. A natural product of Tahiti No sun screens, apply frequently and avoid excessive exposure until well-tanned.
