INDICATIONS:

Mucinex DM Expectorant and Nasal Decongestant 1200 Mg Tablets Controls Cough by Thins and Loosens Mucus.

Break up congestion and mucus by loosening and (thinning out~ mucus and other bronchial secretions making your cough 'productive'.

Quiet your cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with the common cold or inhaled irritants.

Temporarily relieve the intensity of coughing.

Temporarily relieve the impulse to cough anytime, especially while trying to sleep.

Provide relief through the day or night with convenient 12 hour dosing.

Unique Bi layer Tablet :

White side : Immediate Release Layer.

Yellow side : Extended Release Layer.

Temporarily relieves nasal congestion due to common cold, hay fever, upper respiratory allergies.

Temporarily restores freer breathing through the nose.

Promotes nasal and/or sinus drainage, temporarily relieves sinus congestion and pressure.

Helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive.

INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Dextromethorphan HBr (60 mg) (Cough suppressant), Guaifenesin (1200 mg) (Expectorant).
Inactive Ingredients:
Carbomer 934P NF, D&C Yellow 10 Aluminum Lake, Hypromellose USP, Magnesium Stearate NF, Microcrystalline Cellulose NF, Sodium Starch Glycolate NF.

DIRECTIONS:

Do not crush, chew, or break tablet.

Take with a full glass of water.

This product can be administered without regard for the the timing of meals.

Adults and children 12 years of age and over : 1 tablet every 12 hours. Do not exceed 2 tablets in 24 hours.

Children under 12 years of age : do not use.

Tamper evident : do not use if carton is open or if seal on bottle printed 'sealed for your protection' is broken or missing.

Store between 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F).

WARNINGS:

Do not use for children under 12 years of age.

Ask a doctor before use if you have persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema or cough accompanied by too much phlegm (mucus).

Stop use and ask a doctor if cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious illness.

If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Keep out of reach of children.

In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
