INDICATIONS:
Citrucel sugar free methylcellulose fiber therapy laxative powder for regularity, orange is for relief of constipation (irregularity). This product helps restore and maintain regularity. Also useful in the treatment of constipation associated with other bowel disorders when recommended by a physician. Gluten free. No excess gas.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Each 10. 2g adult dose: 2g Methylcellulose (A Non-Allergenic Fiber).
Inactive Ingredients:
Aspartame; Dibasic Calcium Phosphate; FD&C Yellow No. 6; Malic Acid; Maltodextrin; Orange Flavors (Natural And Artificial); Potassium Citrate; and Riboflavin. Each Adult Dose Contains Approximately 6mg of Sodium.
DIRECTIONS:
Fill glass with at least 8 oz. of cold water. Fill enclosed scoop with product. Level scoop with knife or flat object. Put product in water. Stir briskly and drink promptly. Drinking another glass of water is helpful. Adult dose: dissolve 1 leveled scoop (1 heaping tablespoon - 19 g) in 8 oz. of cold water, up to 3 times daily at the first sign of constipation or irregularity. Use enclosed clear scoop. Generally produces effect in 12-72 hours. Children (6-12 years): half the adult dose in 8 oz. of cold water, once daily. TAKE THIS PRODUCT (CHILD OR ADULT DOSE) WITH AT LEAST 8 OZ. (A FULL GLASS) OF WATER OR OTHER FLUID. TAKING THIS PRODUCT WITHOUT ENOUGH LIQUID MAY CAUSE CHOKING. SEE WARNINGS.

Phenylketonurics: CONTAINS PHENYLALANINE 52mg per adult dose. Consult a physician before using any laxative if you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits which persists for two weeks. Unless directed by a physician, do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present. Discontinue use and consult a physician if rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement occurs after use of any laxative product. Unless recommended by a physician, do not exceed recommended maximum daily dose. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than one week unless directed by a physician. If sensitive to any of the ingredients, do not use. TAKING THIS PRODUCT WITHOUT ADEQUATE FLUID MAY CAUSE IT TO SWELL AND BLOCK YOUR THROAT OR ESOPHAGUS AND MAY CAUSE CHOKING. DO NOT TAKE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY IN SWALLOWING. IF YOU EXPERIENCE CHEST PAIN, VOMITING, OR DIFFICULTY IN SWALLOWING OR BREATHING AFTER TAKING THIS PRODUCT, SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION. KEEP THIS AND ALL DRUGS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
