Native to the Mediterranean region, milk thistle (Silybum marianum) gets its name from the milky white sap that is found in the leaves and stem. Place one tea bag in a cup and add 8 oz of boiling water. Cover and steep for at least 15 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bag and remove. 2 cups daily is recommended. Add sweetener if desired. Naturally caffeine free.
