It is made with premium-quality, organic hawthorn berries, and possesses a golden honey color and a slightly astringent, yet light and mellow flavor. Hawthorn (Crataegus laevigata ) is a small thorny tree that produces clusters of brilliant red berries. Like most berries, hawthorn has the antioxidant benefits of bioflavonoids. Historical texts make reference to the beneficial effects of hawthorn berries. Alvita Hawthorn Tea is traditionally used to support cardiovascular health.

Place one tea bag in a cup and add 8 oz of boiling water. Cover and steep for 10 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bag and remove. (For a more concentrated tea, steep for up to 15 minutes.) 3 cups daily is recommended. To alleviate nausea associated with motion, consume 30 minutes to 4 hours before activity. Drink 4 cups daily, preferably between meals. Add sweetener if desired. Naturally caffeine free.
