Its unique formula is made to evaporate slowly so repellent stays on longer with little absorption into the skin. Providing up to 8 hours of effective protection. 30 percent deet is the minimum percent recommended to guard against diseases transmitted by insects. water based formula stays on skins surface rather than being absorbed.
