I have several versions of this product. Plain liquid, liquid with pepper and other herbs, plain gel, and this one. I would not find this product useful for deep pain on large muscles. But, I find it helpful on those parts of the body that are sensitive to skin irritation, such as facial, etc.. It seems to be working very slow compared to the liquid, but, I appreciate that I am not getting the red rashes that I get with the pure liquid. It seems to have a high purity level, compared to competing products on the market.
