Grape Root is an herbal supplement to decrease bacterial resistance to antibiotics and antibacterial agents. Oregon Grape Root is often used to treat infection of the skin such as eczema and psoriasis. Oregon Grape root is also an alternative to the common, yet endangered, goldenseal herb. It can also be used as a diuretic, laxative and tonic.
Trees themselves are unique for being resistant to drought, can flourish in poor soils, creates little to no leaf litter. Fruit from said tree is a delicious ingredient that can be used in jam and wine.
