Thick-It Instant Food Thickener quickly and easily thickens beveragesand pureed foods without changing their appearance, aroma or taste. For people experiencing swallowing problems or dysphagia.

  • Thickens hot or cold, thin or thick liquids and pureed foods to desired nectar-like, honey-like or pudding-like consistencies
  • Sets most foods and liquids within 30-60 seconds, dissolving instantly
  • Does not change appearance or taste of food
  • Gives the body caloric intake, nutrients and hydration needed for healthful living
  • Will not over thicken and will not bind liquids
  • Decreases the risk of aspiration
  • Are kosher parve and gluten-free

  • Slowly add the recommended amount to the liquid.
  • Stir briskly with a spoon, fork or whisk until the thickener is dissolved or use hand mixer or blender at low speed for no more than 5 to 10 seconds.
  • Do not overmix.
  • After mixing, wait approximately 30 seconds for the liquid to thicken.

Desired consistency recommended usage per 4 fl oz :Liquids

  • Nectar consistency : 2 to 3tsp.
  • Honey consistency :3 to 5 tsp.
  • Pudding consistency: 5to6 tsp.
