This kit contains 3 products - Lice Killing Shampoo, Egg and Nit Comb-Out Gel, Home Lice Control Spray to completely eliminate lice from your family and home. The 4 oz bottle of shampoo and 2 oz tube of gel should be enough product to treat one person. However, amount of product needed will vary by hair length. The patented RID comb is proven 100% effective as demonstrated in laboratory studies performed by trained testers. Individual results may vary. Lice Killing Shampoo: Treats head, pubic (crab), and body lice. Egg and Nit Comb-Out Gel: To make egg and nit removal from the hair faster and easier. INGREDIENTS: Active Ingredients: Piperonyl Butoxide 4% , Pyrethrum Extract Equivalent to 0. 33% Pyrethrins , Permethrin CAS No. 52645-53-1 - 50%. Inactive Ingredients: Water , Sd Alcohol , Peg-25 Hydrogenated Castor Oil , Ammonium Laureth Sulfate , Polyquatemium-10 , Glycerin , Hydroxyethylcellulose , Behenamidopropyl Dimethylamine Behenate , Cabbage Extract , Cysteine , Disodium EDTA , Disodium Phosphate , Dmdm Hydantoin , Fragrance , Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate , PG- Hydroxyethylcellulose Cocodimonium Chloride , Pineapple Extract , Polysorbate 20 , Sodium Chloride , Sodium Phoshpate , Tocopherol Acetate. DIRECTIONS: Lice Killing Shampoo: Important - Read warnings and complete directions in the Consumer Information Insert before using. Apply to dry hair only. Massage until hair and scalp are thoroughly wet with product (see insert). After completing application, allow product to remain on hair for 10 minutes but no longer. Add sufficient warm water to form a lather and shampoo as usual. Rinse thoroughly. A fine-toothed comb or a special lice/nit removing comb (included) must be used to help remove dead lice, eggs, and nits from hair. A second treatment must be done in 10 days to kill any newly hatched lice. It is important to wash in hot water (130 degrees F) all clothing, bedding, towels, and hair products (combs, brushes) used by infected persons. Dry clean non-washable fabrics. To eliminate infestation of furniture and bedding that cannot be washed or dry cleaned, a multi-use lice spray may be used. Store at room temperature 59 to 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C). Egg and Nit Comb-Out Gel: Before using, read Consumer Information Insert for complete directions. Use After shampooing with Maximum Strength RID Lice Killing Shampoo or No-Drip Mousse (not included) or other similar product to kill lice and eggs. Towel dry hair and comb tangles with regular comb. Apply RID Egg and Nit Comb-Out Gel liberally to damp hair. Massage well to ensure that the product covers the entire head. Pay special attention to the areas behind the ears and at the nape of the neck where nits and eggs are more likely to be found. Comb out the dead lice, eggs and nits with the enclosed patented RID Egg Removal Comb. (See insert for additional combing instructions). This step is very important.
