    • Simple, effective application technique
    • Adaptable to awkward areas
    • Unique wound measurement grid.
    DESCRIPTION:
OpSite* FLEXIGRID* is a transparent, adhesive film, with a unique wound measurement grid. The film is moisture vapor permeable, conformable and extensible. It is widely used to provide a moist wound healing environment for superficial wounds; it is also ideal for use as a secondary dressing.

    WARNINGS:
OpSite FLEXIGRID may be used on clinically infected wounds if the following precautions are followed:
    • The patient should be under medical/clinical supervision
    • The dressing should be changed daily
    • The patient should be receiving suitable systemic treatment.
Immuno-compromised patients and diabetic patients may require extra supervision. Care should be taken to avoid skin damage by repeated applications on patients with thin or fragile skin.
In common with all adhesive products, some cases of irritation and/or maceration of the skin surrounding the wound have been reported. It should be noted that inappropriate use or too frequent dressing changes, particularly in patients with fragile skin, can result in skin stripping.

THIS PRODUCT IS QUITE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE IN STORES AND SO I WAS HAPPY WITH THE PRICE AND TO GET THIS IN BULK. I USE THESE PADS TO COVER MY SWEET 90 YR YOUNG DAD'S BONEY PROMINENCES IN SPINE (SO AS TO AVOID REDNESS/POTENTIAL BED SORES). IT WORKS VERY WELL AS DAD IS NOT ALLERGIC TO THE ADHESIVE (AS HE IS ALLERGIC TO MOST TAPE TO SECURE BANDAGES). AGAIN, THE PRICE IS GOOD AND THIS VENDOR SHIPS QUICKLY; VERY HAPPY.

While I like the product, I found myself having some kind of reaction to the tape. I have a latex allergy and the tape does not say if it is latex free or not. Is there latex in your product? If so, it should be written on box. I did not see the actual container, so I do not know. Nurses and Dr.'s should know before using on patients. thanks

After several surgeries I encountered Medipore H tape in the hospital during my last surgery. This is by far the best tape I have ever used. It adheres well, but comes off with no residue left behind. It breathes and causes no skin irritation, even after prolonged use. I highly recommend this tape to anyone managing dressing changes for a wound.

I highly recommend this tape to anyone managing dressing changes for a wound. My only negative comment is that a 12 pack is a lot of tape for an individual. I wish it were available as single rolls or as a 6 pack.
