Black and white tropical skin soothing ointment
    • Helps to prevent and temporarily protects chafed, chapped, cracked or wind-burned skin.
    • For temporary protection of minor cuts, scrapes and burns.
    • Black and white ointment is a skin care product (much like vaseline or bag balm).
    • It is quite satisfactory as an emollient for the protection of the skin, but among root-workers it is more commonly utilized in the preparation of condition ointment or solid perfume.
    • For this purpose, a measure of black and white ointment is either blended with a condition oil applied to the skin, or it is used as the base in which to steep roots or herbs for a month, then heated and strained through cheesecloth to remove the residual vegetable matter, cooled, and allowed to harden again before being applied to the skin.
    • Condition ointments such as this are particularly popular among two-headed doctors who give clients a rub or massage as part of a healing or jinx-breaking treatment, especially when crossed conditions have resulted from the victim being poisoned through the feet.

The one and only best reliever of sunburn pain

I went on an all day fishing trip at thirteen and came home with bright red legs from sitting in the boat wearing burmudas for six hours and no suncreen. My legs were burning from where the pants ended. My mother put Foille on my legs which helped the pain. The next day the red was gone along with the burning pain, I was amazed and very greatful. For the rest of the summer I had a funny looking tan... It also made me a firm believer in Foille. It has been a staple in our home since that incident in the 60's. Loved the spray when it came out, would love to see it come back. Saves having to use your hands on an already tender area.

    The BEST product!

I've used Foille since the '60's and heartedly agree with all above comments, but would like to also advise that I am highly alergic to mosquito bites so muc so, that the bites swell up. This product is the only product I've ever found which not only instantly stops the itching, it also stops swelling. My only problem is that it is no longer readily available in stores.
