Alka-Seltzer Gold does not contain aspirin. Effervescent relief of acid indigestion. Safe for sensitive stomachs. For fast relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach.

Per Tablet: Heat Treated Sodium Bicarbonate 958 mg; Citric Acid 832 mg; Potassium Bicarbonate 312 mg. Contains Principally the Antacids Sodium Citrate and Potassium Citrate.
Inactive Ingredients:
A Tableting Aid.
DIRECTIONS:
Dissolve Alka-Seltzer Effervescent Antacid in 4 oz of water before taking. ADULTS: 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed. CHILDREN: 1/2 the adult dosage or as directed by a doctor.
WARNINGS:
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are presently taking a prescription drug. Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. Stop use and ask a doctor if you have taken the maximum dose for 2 weeks. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Excellent to counteract an upset stomach from a a food sensitivity reaction quickly.
If you have eaten a food that you know you have a food sensitivity to, ....and it results in an upset stomach and an accompanying low mood (they often go together), 20 mins after 2 Alka-Seltzer Gold and you will feel better physically and emotionally. Don't use the regular with aspirin. That can upset an already upset stomach. It is a great tool to have in your tool box. Carry it with you when you travel.
