Silrax Ferrous sulfate Iron Supplement Drops

It is used for supplementing iron in the diet and preventing or treating low levels of iron in the blood. Ferrous sulfate drops is an essential body mineral. It works by providing iron to the body.

When the body does not get enough oxygen due to lack of iron, symptoms such as tiredness, shortness of breath, and learning problems may occur. This is a type of anemia called iron deficiency anemia.

Iron deficiency usually improve within a few days, you may have to take ferrous sulfate for 6 months if you have severe iron deficiency. This medication should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating.

It is taken three times a day between meals. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take ferrous sulfate exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient in ferrous sulfate. If you have certain iron metabolism problems (eg, hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis) or high levels of iron in your blood. If you are taking certain cephalosporins (eg, cefotetan) or disulfiram. Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Excellent choice compared to prescription brand

I've been taking iron supplements for over 5 years. Although iron supplements don't require a prescription my local CVS and Rite-Aid pharmacies refused to sell me any without one. They charged approximately $200.00 for a 90-day supply of Niferex so I was overjoyed to find this product because insurance doesn't cover supplements. After receiving approval from my doctor I've used this product for over 18 months and it works just as well as the Niferex.

My doctor recommended this product to me when I was pregnant with my youngest child. Had severe leg cramps and had difficulty in getting to sleep because of leg pain. This product was a lifesafer and I have used it ever since. Could not find in recent store search (Wal-Mart, CVS, etc.) so checked on line and found this company. Ordered two bottles; keep on hand when my legs start to bother me.

    This product is really good.
