- It is a precursor for the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine, as well as for thyroid hormones and enkephalins, special peptides which subdue messages of physical discomfort.
- Tyrosine is also a precursor for the protective skin pigment melanin.
Supplement Facts:
