It combines vitamin B12 (cobalamin) with Design for Healths proprietary NatureFolate blend of active isomer naturally-occuring folates.
These two vitamins work synergistically for many bodily functions, improving methylation and helping to reduce body concentrations of homocysteine. While many manufacturers offer them separately, this formula offers the convenience of getting both B vitamins in one capsule.
The premium B12 in this product comes from equal amounts of adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin. Adenosylcobalamin and Methylcobalamin are the coenzyme forms of Vitamin B12. These are the activated forms of B12 which your body uses to perform a wide variety of functions.
Vitamin B12 (as adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin) 2000 mcg: Folates (NatureFolate blend) 400 mcg.
