Cosequin is the only glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate supplement that has been shown safe, effective, and bioavailable in peer-reviewed, published, controlled, U.S. veterinary studies. Cosequin is manufactured following standards similar to those practiced by the pharmaceutical industry. Cosequin is available in Double Strength (DS) capsules and tasty chewable tablets and in Regular Strength capsules for dogs. Administration: Cosequin DS Capsules Instructions for use: The recommended initial administration period is four to six weeks; however, some dogs may respond in a shorter period of time.
