Health From The Sun Primrose Liquid Gold is a vegetarian, cost effective way to get the benefits of evening primrose oil and Gamma-Linolenic Acid [GLA]. GLA is a nutritionally important omega-6 fatty acid which is rarely found in foods.

Primrose Liquid Gold is extracted from the highest quality evening primrose seeds using the expeller-press methos, without the chemical solvent hexane.

Evening primrose seed oil, rosemary extract, mixed tocopherals (natural vitamin E), ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C) and citric acid to protect freshness.

One-half teaspoon daily with a meal. Take with a spoon or sprinkle on foods. Use externally on the skin for its moisturizing and nourishing properties.

Keep out of direct sunlight. Refrigerate after opening.

an excellent vitamin but a lot to swallow

    Rating:
    Pros:
    Cons:

This is a very good vitamin. My doctor prescribed it for me when I was struggling with adrenal fatigue and wants me to continue on it now that I'm pregnant (and afterward). I was taking a chewable prenatal vitamin while I had morning sickness, because I found 6 Optivite tablets a day a bit much too swallow. It's obvious from the labels that Optivite is a much better choice, but I still hate swallowing them, and taking them crushed is even worse. But I've noticed that some of my pregnancy symptoms (like my constant runny nose) have abated since I started taking it.
