- Wash bottle in warm water and mild detergent before use.
- Do not put in dishwasher.
- Screw small cap into large cap to lock filter in place.
- Fill bottle with tap water.
- Screw large cap with filter onto bottle.
- Pull up on large spout to open.
- Squeeze one full bottle of water through the filter to remove carbon dust.
- System is now ready for use.
- The Brita Bottle filter is not intended to purify water.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
- Individuals requiring water of special microbiological purity should follow the advice of their doctor or local health official regarding the use and consumption of their tap water and Brita filtered water.
