Increase the soothing power of your Vicks Ultrasonic Humidifier with Kaz's demineralization cartridge. Just drop it into the base of your humidifier and for the next two months, or 30 to 40 fillings, the cartridge works overtime to purify the water in your humidifier. It also works hard to eliminate mineral deposits--known as white dust, caused by using hard water--that can be harmful to your unit.
This cartridge is a replacement for the older part number: DC-51-6. It is exactly the same cartridge, and is intended for use with Vicks Ultrasonic Humidifier Models: V5100 and V5100N.
The Demineralization Cartridge is placed in the bottom of the humidifier and helps to filter the water and remove large particles and minerals so that they are not misted into the air with the water.
