INDICATIONS:
Viramedx Releev 1-Day Cold Sore Treats cold sores/fever blisters. For the tingling, itching, pain, burning & blistering associated with cold sores. May be used as an antiseptic to help cleanse or dry cold sores & fever blisters. May be used inside the lips on sore.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Benzalkonium Chloride 0. 13% (an organic chloride salt).
Inactive Ingredients:
Viracea, Methyl & Propyl Paraben, Potassium Sorbate, Methylcellulose, Purified Water.
DIRECTIONS:
Adults and children 2 years of age or older: Apply to clean dry affected area 3-4 times per day (or as desired) by rubbing solution into area well. Allow to dry. For best results use at first sign of outbreak. To prevent outbreaks use one drop per day on area and surrounding area where outbreaks occur. Do not use cotton applicator. May be stored in refrigerator for longer shelf life. Do not freeze. Do not overheat.
WARNINGS:
Do not swallow. Do not use if allergic to Asteracea (daisy) family of flowers. Do not use in yeast infection (may be used in conjunction with yeast medication). Use only as directed. For external use only. Brief tingling may occur. If condition worsens or does not improve contact a health care professional. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not drink alcohol during an outbreak of when using this product. It may decrease effectiveness and prevent healing. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion other than intended use, seek professional assistance or call a poison control center.

My son would get cold sores as a small child. He wasn't old enough to use some of the other medications, so we looked for natural alternatives. Releev is made with organic chloride salt making it safe for a young child to use. It took not even 2 days for the sore to dry up and scab over. When he got older we tried a couple of the other brands claiming to work and they do not work half as well as Releev. We will no longer use any cold sore medicine except Releev!

used it before a wedding and it worked very well by using it as directed. hard to find it thoug. i got mine at a walmart in nebraska. now in arizona i cant find it!
