Vaginal health after cancer
Medications taken to treat breast cancer has left me with estrogen levels below what a post menapausal woman would have. Most doctors are not aware of the impact this has on a woman's sex life or vaginal health. Estrogen given orally or locally is not an option for me since my breast tumor had estrogen receptors on it.
Besides vaginal dryness, I had a horrible vaginal odor. The Rephresh pH vaginal gel, when used after douching with vinegar and water, cures the odor problem. I use a non-hormonal lubricant (lubrin) when having sex. Too bad gynocologists are clueless about this. I have done much research to finally find a product that works.
