Soothing cough formula specially formulated for a child's delicate system. It includes dextromethorphan, the most effective suppressant available without a prescription. Children like its great cherry taste and smooth consistency, a mother's first choice for her child's cough.
Active Ingredients
Per Teaspoon (5 mL): Dextromethorphan HBr USP 5 mg .
Inactive Ingredients
Menthol, Caramel, Citric Acid, Corn Syrup, FD&C Red #40, Cherry Flavor, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Sucrose, and Water.
Take the recommended dose every four hours. Do not exceed six doses in 24 hours, unless directed by your doctor.
- Children under 2 years: consult doctor.
- Children 2 years to under 6 years: 1 teaspoonful every 4 hours.
- Children 6 years to under 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls every 4 hours.
- Children 12 years and over: 3 teaspoons every 4 hours.
Do not take more than 6 doses in any 24 hour period.
